Introduction to IDPA Multi-Gun Class

SDPS can offer instruction for IDPA members who are interested in 3-gun matches utilizing practical rifles, shotguns and pistols and want to learn more about this exciting sport. The class will be a combination of rules/equipment discussion as well as shooting drills/scenarios.

Attendees should have a good working knowledge of IDPA Defensive Pistol rules and experience from multiple IDPA pistol matches. They must have read the provisional IDPA Defensive Multi-Gun rules available at www.idpa.com.

Equipment Required:

• Centerfire rifle/pistol caliber carbine with 2 or more magazines and 60 rounds of ammo
• 12/20 gauge shotgun with 25 rounds birdshot (#8 - #4) and 5 rounds of slug or 00 buckshot
• IDPA legal pistol/revolver with 3 or more magazines/speedloaders and 50 rounds of ammo
• Eye and ear protection, cover garment
